Lisa Schüler holds a BSc and MSc in Life Science, University of Hannover, Germany and a PhD in Biotechnology, University of Algarve, Portugal. She is currently part of the GreenCoLAB team as a biotechnologist specialized in algal contaminations and strain improvement. In her previous work in the MarBiotech group (Center of Marine Sciences, Portugal), Lisa studied the improvement of microalgae with the focus on high-value compounds using physiological and genetic approaches. Lisa has published 14 articles and one book chapter in international peer-reviewed journals and participated in several international conferences. With her profound knowledge in microalgal biotechnology, Lisa joined the GreenCoLAB to develop new products and pipelines to the algae producing companies to improve algal production.
