About me

Carolina has a Biology formation from the University of Agronomy and with a MSc in Marine Biology from the University of Algarve, Carolina has joined GreenCoLab as a PhD student and is based in the National Laboratory of Energy and Geology (LNEG). Beforehand, she performed research on the improvement of microalgal culture mediums for Necton (Algarve, Portugal) and worked as a Research and Development technician at Necton, where she operated and managed the inoculum bioreactors of the factory, and performed diverse research trials. Currently she is doing her PhD regarding the life cycle analysis of wastewater treatment as well as the development of a logarithm for the improvement of the system’s productivity. Simultaneously she is taking a software development course at 42 School in Lisbon.
