José Magalhães is an Environmental Engineer with an master’s degree in environmental engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), Portugal. In 2025, he completed an Environmental Sustainability Internship at BluWin, where he also developed his master’s thesis in collaboration with the company, focusing on a comparative Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of cotton and viscose T-shirts. During this experience, he assessed textile production processes and supported sustainability reporting and improvement strategies, including direct contact with manufacturing facilities in India to support data collection and strengthen his understanding of real-world industrial operations and supply chain dynamics.
