She has experience across the aquaculture value chain in Portugal, including shellfish, finfish, and nutrition, combining hands-on operational work, laboratory analysis, and data processing. Her international experience includes working at the Institute of Aquaculture, University of Stirling, Scotland, a globally recognized institution in aquaculture research.
Sara’s background has allowed her to connect science, industrial operations, and biological knowledge in dynamic environments, with a strong focus on supporting decision-making, process improvement, and sustainable aquaculture practices. Currently, she is joining GreenCoLab as a technician in the Animal Nutrition and Health group, where she will contribute to laboratory activities, experimental work, data collection, and process optimization.
