Maxime holds BSc in Molecular Chemistry and a MSc in Green Chemistry completed at the University of Toulouse III – Paul Sabatier (France). He defended his Master’s thesis about the valorization of the red algae Gelidium sesquipedale using green technologies within the E2S UPPA MANTA (MAriNe maTeriAls) Research Chair. Following that, he joined the SeaChem Doctoral Network project during 2 years gaining valuable academic experience at the University of Copenhagen working on the sustainability assessment of offshore brown seaweed cultivation and biorefinery systems according to the green chemistry principles.

Now he is joining the sustainability team in GreenCoLab to collaborate on the various seaweed and microalgae projects.
