About me

Ricardo is a Biological Engineer who graduated from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) at Universidade de Lisboa (UL), with relevant expertise in waste treatment and valorization, bioenergy and biorefineries, and water and wastewater treatment plants. Over the last few years, he has explored various professional areas focused on the environmental field, with an emphasis on research work conducted in the BIOENG laboratory at NOVA School of Science and Technology, Universidade Nova de Lisboa (UNL), and at the Laboratório Nacional de Energia e Geologia (LNEG). Additionally, he has been involved in project work in the solid waste division at EFACEC. Currently, he serves as a laboratory technician at GreenCoLab, contributing to the field of strain improvement.
