GreenCoLab celebrates the 15th anniversary of Sparos at its “SPAROS15: AQUA NUTRITION WORKSHOP”

Our partner SPAROS, Lda has organized an exciting 3-day event called “SPAROS15: AQUA NUTRITION WORKSHOP”, in Olhão, to mark their 15th anniversary, from the 3rd to the 5th of May.

During the event, Hugo Pereira, GreenCoLab’s Coordinator, had the privilege of presenting the work entitled “Algae: an untapped source of bioactive compounds“. He took the opportunity to share GreenCoLab’s ongoing commitment and efforts to create a more sustainable algae sector.

Also, Ana Teresa Gonçalves showcased the explant and microbiome sequencing work of GreenCoLab’s GUTPERFORMANCE group, focused on evaluating the functionality of aquafeed ingredients in fish gut.
