Hugo Pereira, GreenCoLab Coordinator, was invited to showcase GreenCoLab, as one of ten international case studies, for an OCDE-promoted workshop entitled “Aiming for the stars: Advancing key technology moonshots for green future”, organized by the Working Party on Innovation and Technology Policy (TIP).
During SESSION 5, themed “Impact counts: commercialising and scaling green technology initiative”, Hugo took the opportunity to present GreenCoLab’s mission and ongoing efforts in driving green innovation, as a commitment to developing novel greener products, services, and processes. Hugo spotlighted the European REALM project as an exemplary industry model leveraging integrative circular approaches and sustainable transitions.
This event’s focal point was illuminating the “significance of Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) in solving ecosystem challenges through collaborative approaches for sustainability transformation”. Distinguished attendees included global government officials, business leaders, university research centers, and NGOs, as well as representatives from the ten entities selected as case studies alongside GreenCoLab, namely aspern.mobil LAB, HyMethShip, Centre TERRE, GreenLab, NEWRAIL project, Plasma Science and Fusion Center at MIT (PSFC) and Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS), SUSBINCO project, Lorraine Smart Cities Living Lab (LSCLL) and Low Carbon Eco-Innovatory (LCEI).
