On 23 April, Hugo Pereira, coordinator of GreenCoLab, participated as a speaker at an event for an International Delegation of the Blue Economy, in a session dedicated to research and development in the Blue Bioeconomy. The event, promoted by CRIA, occurred at the University of Algarve at CRIA (Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer Division) office, in Faro.

During his presentation, Hugo Pereira highlighted the strategic role of GreenCoLab as a collaborative innovation platform that brings together science, industry and public policy to drive the sustainable development of marine resources. The presentation focused on ongoing projects and algae-based solutions with potential applications in food, agriculture, cosmetics, etc.

The event brought together representatives from France and Algeria, encouraging the sharing of knowledge and the development of collaborative synergies on a global scale for the sustainable growth of the Blue Economy.
