GreenCoLab was present at the 44th edition of FATACIL, the largest fair for craft, tourism, agriculture, trade, and industry in the Algarve, which will take place in Lagoa between August 22 and 31, 2025.
As part of the “AMAR a TERRA” (LOVE the EARTH) space, promoted by CCDR Algarve, GreenCoLab’s stand was dedicated to demonstrating some of its prototypes and research results based on algae. Highlights include the children’s book “O Verde do Azul: À Descoberta das Algas” (The Green of Blue: Discovering Algae), which promotes environmental literacy from childhood; innovative food products formulated with algae, such as ALGAEGEMS and ALGAEBEER; and the CLEAN CULTURE kit, designed to detect contaminants in algae production.
Being at FATACIL presents a great opportunity to bring scientific research closer to the community and businesses, thereby enhancing GreenCoLab’s role in promoting algae, encouraging environmental responsibility, and supporting the competitiveness of companies linked to the blue bioeconomy.
