Another working meeting of the REALM, project a European consortium focused on the sustainable valorisation of marine resources, with special emphasis on the role of algae in innovative and circular value chains, took place in Turku, Finland, on 4 and 5 June.

GreenCoLab was represented by a dedicated team, with researchers Mariam Klonaly and Monya Costa attending in person, while other members attended remotely, such as Ana Teresa Gonçalves, Hugo Pereira and Lais Speranza. This diversity of participation allowed for a rich sharing of knowledge, with presentations of work in progress and the discussion of strategic guidelines for the project’s next steps.

These meetings are fundamental for aligning ideas, clarifying technical approaches and strengthening collaboration between the partners, ensuring that the collective work continues in a cohesive manner and is geared towards the defined objectives.

In an environment of international co-operation, the participants reflected on the progress already made and identified concrete ways to continue transforming research into practical and sustainable solutions.
