Ana Teresa Gonçalves, representing GreenColab and SPAROS, Lda, provided an insightful presentation entitled  “The Microbiome-Diet-Performance Nexus in Aquaculture: An Opportunity For Precision Nutrition”, integrated the DOMAIN SESSION II: MICROBIOMES IN AQUACULTURE.
This 2-day initiative, taking place at Egas Moniz School of Health and Science, was designed to gather the scientific and industrial community working with microbiomes in Portugal, taking into account the significant increase in the amount of data and knowledge produced in the last decade. To help researchers overcome this challenge, Bio.Data.pt, ELIXIR Portugal, and Symbnet, the European research network on microbe-host symbiosis, have joined forces to support researchers in the microbiome field.
